WHAT A MICRO-CREDENTIAL MUST DOCUMENT 

The TEAMCARE model is built on the Council Recommendation of 16 June 2022 on a European approach to micro-credentials for lifelong learning and employability. The Recommendation defines a micro-credential as “a record of the learning outcomes that a learner has acquired following a small volume of learning” – assessed against transparent, clearly defined criteria, owned by the learner, portable, and quality-assured. A certificate of attendance with no assessment does not qualify the achievements of learning outcomes, and therefore, the micro-credential.

Before localising any TEAMCARE micro-credential, the design should allow all eleven mandatory elements below to be documented (five further elements are optional but recommended where relevant):
