PURPOSE AND SCOPE

These Guidelines set out how to apply the TEAMCARE Micro-Credential Reference Model when localising the TEAMCARE Curriculum for Community-Based Interprofessional Teams (CBIT) into a deliverable, assessable, certifiable training offer, in any country and at any institution.

The document is self-contained. It defines the policy basis, sets out the full structure and content of the four TEAMCARE micro-credentials (chapters 4 and 5), and describes – with worked, concrete examples drawn from pilot implementation – how to design delivery, assessment, quality assurance and certification for each micro-credential. Chapter 6 lists the small number of points that are still being harmonised across pilot countries and states the working default to use for each. No separate annex, report or reference model document needs to be read alongside this one.
