Scenario 3A – Design and organization
Απαιτήσεις ολοκλήρωσης
The clarity of the course design strongly influences learners’ ability to engage meaningfully. When expectations, resources, and activities are explicit and well–organized, students can focus on learning rather than on navigating uncertainty.
- Clear course structure with explicit learning objectives
Students need to understand from the start what the course is about, what they are expected to achieve, and how each activity contributes to those outcomes. A Book or Page can be used to present objectives in student–friendly language, linking them to assessment criteria and overall competencies.
Recommended tools: Book – Page. - Detailed timetable with deadlines and expectations
A predictable timeline reduces stress and fosters learner responsibility. The Calendar tool can display due dates, while the Text and Media Area at the top of the course page can highlight weekly goals or upcoming milestones. Clear scheduling supports self–regulation and avoids last–minute confusion.
Recommended tools: Text and Media Area – Calendar. - Relevant and well–organized learning resources
Resources should be easy to locate and logically grouped. Folders can be used to cluster related materials, while Pages can provide explanatory notes or guidance on how to use them. Organizing content this way prevents cognitive overload and helps learners build a coherent understanding of the subject matter.
Recommended tools: Folder – Page.
