The TEAMCARE Guidelines for Curriculum Localization collect the tools and guides produced by the TEAMCARE project (Grant Agreement No. 101111736) to support Higher Education and VET designers in instantiating the CBIT EU Curriculum, the European Curriculum for Specialists in Community-Based Interprofessional Teams for person-centred care, into a course adapted to their own national or institutional context.

Localizing the Curriculum is treated here as a progressive design process, moving from a general, EU-wide reference towards a course that can actually be delivered: first the EU Curriculum itself, general and adaptable by design; then its localization, where a designer decides on ECTS, modules and delivery strategies for their own context; and finally the design of the specific course, with teachers, schedule and assessment.

These guidelines support teachers in translating the TEAMCARE curriculum into effective online and blended practices. Based on the Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework, they help design courses that promote knowledge sharing, interaction, collaboration, and reflective engagement in interprofessional contexts.
